Piano tuning.
Professional tuning for upright and grand pianos of all makes and models. Regular tuning helps maintain the correct pitch and keeps your piano sounding its best.

Piano repairs
I provide repairs for a range of mechanical and maintenance problems, including broken strings and other issues affecting the operation of your piano.
I will assess the piano and explain what work may be required before proceeding.

Regulation
Regulation involves adjusting the pianos mechanical components to help maintain an even and responsive action. This can be particularly useful where a piano has become uneven or less responsive over time.

Voicing
Voicing can alter the character and tone of a piano by working on the hammers. I can assess the instrument and advise whether voicing would be appropriate.

Professional cleaning
Cleaning can help maintain the appearance and condition of your piano.

Piano purchase advice
Buying a second-hand piano can be difficult if you are unsure what to look for.
If you are considering purchasing a piano privately, I can inspect the instrument and advise on its general condition and whether it is likely to require work.
