I'm Jeff Howe.  As well as tuning, repairing and servicing pianos i am also a piano tutor with nearly 30 years experience. I have taught in schools in Bedfordshire for many years, and now teach privately in Bedford and surounding areas.  It is important children enjoy learning to play, and i put a strong emphasis on this. I make sure they have a varied and exciting knowledge of the instrument and different styles of playing, gradually building up their repertoire. When children are ready, they have the option of doing grade examinations. I use both examination boards, Trinity and Abrsm. Lessons are generally 30 minutes, although some do have slightly longer. I have a Kemble piano which i teach some children on, but i am increasingly travelling to students houses to give lessons. Please contact me for further information. Thank you.
